What it tracks for you
- Three-number call in doubles (server score, receiver score, server number), starting at 0-0-2.
- Side-outs: only the serving team scores. A lost rally passes the serve to server 2, then to the other team.
- Who serves and from where: the server's name and side (right or left), so nobody ends up out of position.
- Win by 2 for games to 11, 15 or 21, and best of 3 with a "switch ends" prompt at the midpoint of the deciding game.
- Singles: serve from the right on an even score and the left on an odd one.
- Undo for the misclicks every rec game has.
Score out loud
Turn on the speaker icon and the phone calls each score ("four, two, one") after every rally, so players hear it without looking. It uses the phone's built-in voice, with no internet needed.
Made for the court
- Big tap targets you can hit with a paddle in your hand.
- Keeps the screen awake during a match.
- Dark mode for sun glare. Install it to your home screen and it works offline at courts with bad signal.
- No account. The match is saved on your phone.
Running a whole session, not just one game?
The open play rotation tab assigns courts and partners for groups of any size and keeps standings from the scores you enter.

FAQ
How do you keep score in pickleball doubles?
Call three numbers: the serving team's score, the receiving team's score, then the server number (1 or 2). Only the serving team scores. The game starts at 0-0-2 because the first serving team gets only one server.
Is there a free pickleball scorekeeper app?
Yes. Paddle Gecko is free and runs in your phone's browser. You can add it to your home screen. There are no ads and no accounts, and it works offline.
Can the app call the score out loud?
Yes. Turn on the speaker icon and it reads each score aloud using the phone's built-in speech.
What if we tap the wrong team?
Tap Undo. It steps back one rally at a time, restoring the score, the server and the serving side.
